Direct FlexRay Communication
Gateway-independent bench development.
The work
We developed a standalone bench environment by reverse-engineering the required FlexRay communication and removing the need for the physical Gateway and ABS modules.
Himalayan Performance Labs can develop complete FlexRay-based ECU integrations — including custom ECU code and dedicated external hardware that communicates directly with the DME. This can be used to build auxiliary controllers, custom sensor interfaces, runtime control modules and tuning-platform hardware with bidirectional ECU communication.
The result
- Direct UDS communication with the DME over FlexRay
- Gateway- and ABS-independent bench operation
- FlexRay research and development platform
- Custom ECU code for additional FlexRay Tx/Rx frames
- External hardware able to exchange custom data directly with the DME
What we can build
Complete FlexRay-based ECU integrations
Custom ECU code and dedicated external hardware that communicates directly with the DME — auxiliary controllers, custom sensor interfaces, runtime control modules, and tuning-platform hardware with bidirectional ECU communication.
